Pelican in the Parlor (art print)

A pelican stands on a dark wood floor before a deep green damask wallpaper, as if it has wandered into a Victorian sitting room and made itself entirely at home.

The bird’s grey and white plumage is flecked with chartreuse yellow, echoing the acid-green of its long, distinctive bill. The lush, patterned background lends the piece a deadpan wit — a seabird utterly out of context, and utterly unbothered.
