Orange Lily + Stag Beetle (art print)

This specimen-style giclée print features a scientific-surrealist hybrid of a stag beetle and a vibrant flame lily. The top half of the piece details the textured, dark chitinous armor and mandibles of the beetle, rendered in a traditional entomological study format against a neutral cream background. In place of the elytra, the abdomen is comprised of layered, ruffled petals in shades of crimson and amber, transitioning into delicate stamen that extend from the base. Reproduced from an original acrylic on canvas, this high-quality print balances technical accuracy with organic abstraction, exploring the textural parallels between insect anatomy and botanical structures.
